Francisco Romero

Welcome!

I am a Co-Founder at Plix. I graduated with my PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. I was advised by Professor Christos Kozyrakis and supported by the Stanford DARE Fellowship. My dissertation focused on the design of general purpose and interactive video analytics systems.

I received my Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University in 2017, and my Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics from the University of Southern California in 2015.

I will be joining the Georgia Tech School of Computer Science as an Assistant Professor in the Fall of 2025.
