I am passionate about outreach and mentorship through teaching, research, and community service. My commitment has been recognized through several accolades, including the HENAAC Outstanding Engineering Graduate Student Leadership Award and the Stanford School of Engineering JEDI Graduation Award twice.

As a graduate student, I served as an academic mentor for undergraduates through community centers like Stanford’s Centro Chicano y Latino and formal initiatives such as the SURF program, where I also sat on the admissions board. Beyond direct mentorship, I participated in numerous panels to guide diverse students through the graduate application process and academic life, and I contributed to the SERIO executive team to support underrepresented undergraduates pursuing advanced degrees.
